With nearly two decades of hands-on experience in the medical field, Dr. Raymond G. Elmore has a wealth of knowledge and expertise that allows him to care for patients well while furthering progress in the medical field. He has spent most of his career as a licensed physician in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Raymond is deeply committed to women’s health and working to improve access to and quality of care for women across the country.
Over the course of his career, Raymond G. Elmore has filled a variety of roles and worked in medical systems in several different states. Some of his most notable roles have included working as the Medical Director for Presbyterian Healthcare Services in New Mexico and the Medical Director of Perinatal Safety for AdventHealth in Ocala, Florida. In these roles, Raymond has helped implement programs such as telehealth prenatal appointments, new labor and delivery services, and better training programs. Currently, Raymond is living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and he recently a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Leadership from Brown University. This degree has equipped him with additional skills and knowledge to continue making a difference through leadership roles within healthcare systems.
Within the scope of his own practice, Raymond G. Elmore has several clinical focuses. He is particularly knowledgeable about high-risk obstetrics as well as medical and surgical management of problems related to menopause. He loves getting to form connections with his patients and help them access the care they need to thrive. Raymond doesn’t shy away from addressing sensitive issues such as vaccine hesitancy, obstetric provider shortages, maternal health iniquities, and substance abuse during pregnancy. In fact, he loves getting to help educate people on these issues and has published multiple articles on LinkedIn to help reach his professional network.
While Raymond G. Elmore loves getting to work directly with patients, he is also passionate about research and science within the medical field. He has enjoyed getting to participate in multiple research studies, particularly throughout his academic years. His research has primarily focused on ovarian cancer, and he even had the opportunity to present a study at the National Conference for the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists. Raymond is excited to see innovation within the healthcare industry continue to improve quality, equity, and efficiency, particularly within women’s healthcare.
Dr. Raymond G. Elmore completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, followed by earning his Medical Degree from the University of Texas at Southwestern Medical Center. He then moved to California to pursue his residency. He spent four years at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as a medical resident. While he chose to stick to focusing on general OB/GYN practice, he is grateful for the time he spent in the program and has continued to apply the things he learned.
